The marine life is what truly sets Discover West Maui apart. Many of the reefs visited on this tour are home to honu cleaning stations—areas where Hawaiian green sea turtles regularly return to have algae and parasites cleaned from their shells by reef fish. While wildlife sightings are never guaranteed, these reefs are among the best places on Maui to encounter honu in their natural habitat.
