Andy

Andy is from Oxnard, CA and really appreciates photography. He studied photojournalism in college and transferred those skills into teaching the art while guiding tours in southeast Alaska. Seeing glaciers and humpback whales in Alaska and sharing those experiences with people inspired Andy to come to Maui to continue being on the ocean and seeing the beautiful humpback whales in Hawaii. He strives to create a sense of wonder about the natural world for people and share with them his love of the ocean.

Austin

Austin is Tyler MacArthur’s younger brother and yes, they sound and act identically to each other. Austin is going to be a Junior at Oregon State University and looks like he’ll be around for multiple seasons as crew. Austin’s previous work experience included caretaking and guiding for a private family in Wailea. He was also a busboy at Fabiani’s restaurant in Kihei.

Tayler

Tayler recently moved to Maui from Berkeley where she was a Production Assistant for Informing Change – a strategic learning firm dedicated to increasing the effectiveness and impact of people who are working to make the world a better place.  She will be a seasonal hire through the fall. She is PADI certified and has previous experience working in a Café. Achievements include the first prize winner for the Guffey Excellence in Business Communication Award.

Sydney

While the name sounds the same, Sydney is not blood-related to the Coon Family, but she is now officially a member of the Trilogy 'Ohana. Sydney has recently moved to Maui and is pursuing a Mariner career. New to boating, she is eager to learn and climb the ranks. She has the goal of getting her Captains License one day. Sydney comes with 3-years previous restaurant experience ranging from the back of the house kitchen to bussing, to being the hostess.

Bree

Bree has desired to come on board with Trilogy for some time now and is excited to be a member of the ʻOhana. Bree is originally from San Diego, but moved out to Maui 1.5 years ago and has fallen in love with the Island. Hobbies include surfing, SUP, Yoga, running, hiking, and anything with an Aloha Spirit. Bree is PADI Open water certified and comes with previous boating experience on the Lahaina Cruise Company dinner cruises. Bree has also worked at Goofy Foot surf school for some time now. Bree is considering a Captains license in the future.

Aunty Coral

Aunty Corallyne is Trilogy's "Hale Queen". Since her start with Trilogy back in January of 2004, she has cared for the Hale and its guests with true Aloha. If you've ever had a conversation with Aunty Coral, you know she is as sweet as her voice conveys. No matter the size of the group (30 people to 200 people), Aunty Coral keeps her cool and her professionalism, organizing the crew and her "Hale helpers" to prepare the tables and serve our guests with the island hospitality Trilogy is known for. When not at the Hale, Aunty Coral enjoys spending time with her grandchildren. A big MAHALO for the hard work, dedication, and quality you put into your job on a daily basis. We appreciate you!

Mo

Mo Sanoon hails from the island nation of the Maldives. He comes to Trilogy with over a decade of experience in hotels and resorts around the world and an MBA in Hospitality. Most recently he moved to Lana'i as Manager at the Four Seasons Manele Bay, in charge of supervising the front office personnel. The graveyard shift (12 AM – 8 AM) quickly had Mo missing sunlight and spending soon time with his wife.

Mo started with us on construction team that was renovating the Hale O Manele. After observing the Captains, Crew and the Hale staff hosting our guests, he approached us about working for Trilogy in any capacity. As a beach attendant, he has come up with excellent ways to inventory the beach trailers. All safety equipment is stocked and checked daily.

Fun Fact – Mo is also a stock market day trader and runs his own business on the side. He starts his day at 4:00 AM and puts his orders in on wall street

Captain Brian (Barnes)

Brian has become our resident Captain on our Captain’s Sunset Dinner Sail and along with the crew have helped grow the trips popularity and help us expand the trip to Lahaina. Guest’s rave about Brian’s astronomy class he does with his high powered laser pointer.

Captain Emily

Captain Emily has been an incredible team member and has gone above and beyond by spending multiple days on Lana'i for Storm watch. She single-handedly Captain-ed TRILOGY I from Lahaina to Lana'i at night with an approaching Kona wind cold front and did it with a smile.

Emily has been a big help with the introductory nights of the New Deluxe Ka'anapali Sunset Sail. She provided fantastic insight and an amazing experience for our guests, who have been completely blown away with the new tour.

Emily has done a great job as Mate of Record for TRILOGY I, which is no easy task and now has been promoted to Captain of Record for TRILOGY ELUA. Her attention to detail, passion for boats and the ocean, and many friendships with other operators in the marine industry are admirable.
